In order to earn the title of Diplomate,
Dr. Bissell completed the extensive educational requirements, which include comprehensive written and oral examinations covering all phases of periodontal disease and treatment, as well as preparing and delivering in-depth presentations regarding actual treatment provided to patients. In addition, he must recertify every three years by completing mandatory continuing education credits and self-study.
